

During his adolescent days, he attended Sin-seok Elementary School and Kwang-sung Middle School.

On Mahe made his first television appearance on EBS' documentary 15 Second Fever, Hold the World alongside his parents. At the age of 5, Ye-dam participated in the opening songs for EBS' television series Bboong bboong-E (방귀대장 뿡뿡이) and the Korean-dub version of the Japanese anime Onegai! Samia-don (모래요정 바람돌이). His uncle Bang Yong-seok is well known as a composer and director in the commercial film industry. His mother, Jung Mi-young is well known for singing soundtracks in Korean drama Friends and film After the Show Ends (연극이 끝난 뒤). Famous as the runner-up in the second season of K-Pop Star, this South Korean vocalist and dancer performed covers of Sir Duke, Karma Chameleon. He was defeated on K-Pop Star by Lee Suhyun’s Akdong Musician (AKMU) pop duo. His unique emotions clear enough to separate his cover from the original song filled up the mic and camera. Bang Ye-dam was born on the 7th of May, 2002. Coming from a musically-oriented family, his father, Bang Dae-sik is well known for releasing over 40 songs for commercials and animated shows including the opening songs for the Korean-dub of Japanese anime Pokemon, Dragon Ball and many more. BANG YE DAM’s unique soulful voice grabbed the listeners’ ears in an instant from the first verse. This solo release is intended as a surprise gift for fans before TREASURE’s official debut. Bang Ye-dam was born on in Mapo District, Seoul, South Korea. Bang Ye Dam has been a trainee at YG Entertainment for seven years.
